As the world drifts from the harmonious place I used to know
To a place of solitude
A place where Selfishness is associated with purpose

“Be a man! Here’s your hoe”
So I become a man,I take the hoe. Now I dig till I’m old?
In a world where troubles are lots
And ease, like gold, is rare
I try to ignore
But the rising of the sun reminds me the bills are there
I am weak, and try more to ignore
But I could see the kids glare

Honey, I am no Apollo
Just a human first beheld in nudity
I want the best for my own
The best in my capacity

As I reel back from the punch life throws
