Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Adenike Oyetunde as a senior special assistant for the disabled. Adenike is a media personality and gratitude coach. She is an amputee and disability rights advocate.
” Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, the head of Lagos State Services, said that the appointment of Adenike Dasola Oyetunde as the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant for Disability Affairs was derived from a statement published on the Lagos State Government’s official Instagram page: “She Have confidence in their own abilities and demonstrate commitment to the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. “
Adenike is the founder of Amputees United. She was established in early 2017 to provide support for amputees. The initiative aims to create a community where amputees can hold hands with others with the same experience and get what they need Support to meet the challenges of (new) reality.
She completed her studies and obtained a law degree; she worked as OAP at Info Fm in Nigeria and was the convener of the “Thanksgiving Pot Challenge”, where people Was encouraged to save a jar and write down their grateful life experiences in it.
