Real Madrid Secures Toni Kroos for Another Season
Real Madrid has extended Toni Kroos’ contract, confirming that the 33-year-old midfielder will continue to stay with the Spanish giants for another season. The four-time Champion Leagues and three-time La Liga title winner’s previous deal was set to end in June, but the new extension will see him stay for his 10th campaign with the club. Kroos has been with Real Madrid since 2014 when he transferred from Bayern Munich, the same year he helped Germany to World Cup victory. Coach Carlo Ancelotti had previously stated that he expected group veterans Kroos and Luka Modric, 37, to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu for another season.
More Options, More Possibilities
Madrid signed Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund last week for upwards of 100 million euros, which subsequently provides them with more midfield options. Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Fede Valverde are among other midfield prospects available to Madrid, making the team’s midfield a formidable force to be reckoned with.
Overall, Toni Kroos’ extension is a testament to his skill, talent, and long-standing commitment to Real Madrid. Kroos has shown his worth on numerous occasions, and his leadership on the pitch will surely help Madrid reach new heights.
