Austin Faani, the estranged husband of Nigerian actress, Chacha Eke Faani has denied claims of domestic violence against her in their marriage. This comes after ChaCha announced that their marriage had ended and unfollowed Austin on Instagram.

In a now-deleted post shared on her Instagram page, the actress accused Faani of enduring intimate partner abuse.

I don’t want to die or go unaccountably missing, she said in the post accompanying images taken from what appeared to be an iPad.

Faani responded with a denial – telling media he would never raise his hand on any woman, including his wife – and attacking ChaCha for allegedly starting trash talks.

The only person who started the talk will in due time continue the talk, he posted on Instagram alongside two images – one captioned Eddie Murphy says trash!! — suggesting that issues between him and his wife were not uncommon knowledge.
