Today I saw the sun die,
My eyes had never seen a more glorious sight.
I saw it’s ashes illuminate the heavens as dusk touched the sky.
I watched the clouds cry, probably devastated to loose the light in it’s life, but, I told it not to despair, because the death of the sun is a beautiful mystery and in it’s wake, the stars are born. They serve as little reminders that the sun, just like the Phoenix, will rise again from the ashes of the night.
So do not despair, for you see, even the dark night is beautiful, for without it, how would you appreciate the garden of fireflies that give life to night?
So, whenever you see a sunset, don’t be dismayed of the night. Remember, joy comes with a new day, and with said joy comes the hope for a better future.
