Paris Saint-Germain sign goalkeeper Arnau Tenas from Barcelona B team
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has made a significant acquisition, securing goalkeeper Arnau Tenas from the Barcelona B team. The Ligue 1 champions officially announced the signing on Sunday, revealing that Tenas has signed a three-year contract with the club.
Tenas, a 22-year-old Spanish talent, will take on the role of understudy to Gianluigi Donnarumma, the recently acquired star goalkeeper. PSG is actively looking to offload Keylor Navas, who has returned from loan to English club Nottingham, and Sergio Rico, who is currently in the process of recovering from a traumatic brain injury following a horse riding accident in Spain.
Tenas expressed his thoughts about Rico in a statement released by PSG. Rico is on the minds of the team while they are on a tour of Japan and South Korea.
Although Tenas has yet to make an appearance for the Barcelona first team, he has an impressive achievement to his name. In 2019, he was part of the European Under-19 champion squad.
